Privacy policy.
Effective 16 April 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to us.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. When you create a listing, we store the business details you submit. When you send an enquiry, we store the message and your contact details so the seller can reply. We keep standard server logs (IP address, request path, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to operate BizMarket: to show your listings, to route enquiries to the right seller, to send account notifications, and to respond to your support requests. We do not use your personal data to train models, profile you for advertising, or build behavioural segments.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only parties that process data on our behalf are the infrastructure providers who host the site and deliver our emails. They are bound by contracts that limit them to processing data only as instructed.
The exception is enquiry content: when you send a message to a seller, that seller sees your name, email address, and message. That is the point of an enquiry.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember session state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site analytics.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can edit most of your data directly from your dashboard. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
